Spoiler:

As of 21st August 2013, NFMM has been updated with a more effective way of communicating with other players, the famous Multiplayer Dome.

On release, Omar was on the scene, checking on us and having a few games. Amoung other things, Omar announced that if we have any ideas or suggestions for what can be done in the upcoming tabs, we can email him our feedback and ideas. ( omar@radicalplay.com )

Since this is upcoming content, why not discuss it here or share your opinion?

I'll start with mine. This update caters for kids the best, with the use of a mouse to navigate through. It makes things easier for everybody, and looks like Facebook... I find the use of a "Profile" tab a little redundant or trivial to the game, but if it makes things more engaging or interesting, then by all means, go ahead with it. However, I'm not too fond of some of the things Omar has in mind, mainly the idea of a "experience level" as mentioned in the Development Blog. The game doesn't need to be more competitive than it already is. The other mentioned feature about "style"can be found just by spending an afternoon or evening with a player. Avatars and logos are self explanatory, and hopefully won't be a huge load on Dominion... Since that is where every published car and stage is stored.

I myself have ideas as to what should be shown in these "Profile", "Messages" and "Clans" tabs. I'm certain they could be useful to curious players:

That's what IP said...

Anyway, I personally would like to see an option to reduce the resolution of the game in the next update. The new dimensions along with the dome update and the scenery updates make me very laggy.

It created so many glitches, more DCs, more teleporting.

But the idea is good, fix the BLGs, DCs, and Teleporting stuff and maybe we'll like it better.

But the public accounts, their stuff... ewe Imagine the spam they would create.

I agree with the competitive part... It doesn't need to be added. It'll only cause more arguments than there already is. As for "Profiles", it should simple like a picture, a little description about yourself or whatever... Messages feels like a forum now. But I don't mind it. I don't see how the "My Friends" would help anything though... (I know I suggested this before). But it feels like we can already look at the Dome to see where each players at.

The only thing I like about the dome is that I can see whose online and in which room. Also, another good advantage of the update is that you can change rooms in any server quickly using the option at the top right corner of the game window. The rest, well, it only served to make the game laggy, not only for me, but for most of the players, and hence, the disconnect ratio has progressively increased.

If that can be fixed along with the idea of the profile tab to be as the admin suggested, it can prove to be really helpful for the newbies and fun for the older community.

I agree. The Dome's chat seems redundant when you realise that the room chat and game chat serves everyone's needs just fine (and provides enough colour into an already colourful community). The only thing I've seen on the Dome's chat is line after line of spam.

I wish I could say that I don't care about the Profile tab, but I can't, because I've already set mine up. My account's expired status doesn't stop me from adding cars and stages, editing my profile and showing my presence for about 10-30 seconds in the Dome.

I can still say that don't care about clans, though. It's good that Omar is adding clan features, however, given that every other online game I play either has clans or clans under a different name (they are guilds in MapleStory, for instance). A single clan page would be a nice addition, listing down the what the clan is about and members, and perhaps a block of text about clan policies and joining instructions if they are accepting new members. I wouldn't recommend direct offsite linking, though.

Nimi's hubcaps have disappeared for me. Not not just his, but one of my cars, and a copy of that car I LET my friend make.

Ah, now that you mention this, I note with considerable dissatisfaction that you can no longer emulate anti-gravity in the latest update. Wheels have a minimum size even if you set both the Height and Width of the wheels to 0.

I dislike the "Racer" "Waster" stats, just because they aren't accurate enough. I also agree with IP in that experience points make the game unnecessarily more competitive. Profiles pictures, style quotes, and theme songs are cool, though. I think it's nice how a player can simply click on your name and find out a good bit about you.

Now, as far as the Global Chat feature is concerned... I think it's a brilliant idea. You can see everyone online, and you don't have to jump across 15 different rooms to see. It's all right there. The con to this is that you can't go incognito anymore.

I'd like a messages feature, but I do fear for the payload on Dominion's server. Also, buddies would be really handy of a feature.

At the moment, you can only access the profiles of players if they are online. If they go offline, you can't view their profile until they log on again. Would some kind of search function be appropriate, and if so, how much would it add on to server load?

It would be nice to have more servers. In my opinion, it would mean more players around the servers

More server's doesen't nessesary means more players, there's never a server that is completely full anyway, the reason we have 3 of them is to ho have one at each part in the world (dominion in USA, Avenger in EU, ghostrider in asia)More would be nice to have less lag if the server is closer to you but it will cost more money for omar and people would probebly not use them anyway, just like ghostrider.
