Share you thoughts about stages that use the "BOOST" glitch.

i'll start with mine, i love it, it's lots of fun, but i do feel like it's a bit overplayed at times.

The BOOST stages were fun at first, but as everyone says they're just overused now. Also, it doesn't take skill, people just win based off of how far they got launched

Er. What's a Boost stage?

Sorry, I didn't play NFM for the past 2 years. Razz

Sounds like it's just a gimmick.

It's a glitch when you put a ramp and then a few of the new track pieces (not sure exactly how they called) so if you go on the ramp and through those peices you get a crazy amount of speed and "boost" i might post a screenshot soon.

EDIT: http://prntscr.com/1yrzvq

Ah, right.

They're called 'Tunnel Side Ramps' in the Stage Editor.

So I was kinda right when I said 'just a gimmick'?

Nice textures, btw. Razz

This is quite cool imo. I find it unique to be going extremely fast and how you can boost into people and make crazy things happen such as killing other people at light speed.

Boost stages I personally dislike. If anyone hits you, Insta death. The only things you need is high speed, Stunts, And accel. Nothing else!

I like them, personally. When you join a boost match, you have to go into it not caring if you win or lose, or how. It's just for fun - just to mess around. There's no way I'd play one competitively.

I think BOOST stages are pretty nifty, although that isn't what the tunnel side ramps are supposed to be used for. I play them every once in a while, but they are getting pretty old. The thing is, they're not as entertaining as actual stages. Once someone creates a new BOOST stage, it's another hour wasted all over again, and that's just my opinion.

Boost stages are fun in that you can go really fast, but then again, the stages only require luck, and zero skill. I also realized that if you're going really fast, with all four wheels on the ground, you should be able to zip right through the wall. But in all honesty, I don't think there's any point in these stages other then to mess around.

Little miss clueless, don't reply to something that old. Your going off topic. You noticed it too late.

Other than that, I hate boost stages period. Especially when it started to get abused by retards.

Boost stages are great IMO. They are played less frequently due to tournaments, wars, and players that make game stages. I wish for it to be played more.

Whenever I use RAD1 on a boost stage, it seems to instantly waste and freeze my game. On Lightspeed 2, whenever I try to boost playing offline my game always freezes.
