Hey, I'm Xayler and I'll write a short introduction here, looking forward to the game after many years.

I've played NFM for a long time, not sure for how many years exactly, but I played NFM 1 back in 2008 or so if I'm right and when NFM 2 came out I even made a couple of videos in 2011 which of couse are with ridiculous grammar and just pointless imo, except one video where I completed "The Strech" with all of the game cars (by racing). (if anyone is interested in them I may give a link haha)
After the NFMM came out I wasn't really that of a person to come and play as it needed paying and I couldn't do it.

I'll end with my NFM history here and talk about present then. It's my first time to join any NFM forums and I'm looking forward to it. I recently got that feeling again to play the game and I will probably buy the multiplayer also now.
I really like to make new things into the game or think how this could be a bit different, etc, so I really like both - Car and Stage maker. I even made my own car 2 days ago (which of course isn't that good as I made my car with the "Simple Car" tutorial, but I think that it's cool enough for the first timer.
I also made a track around a year ago when I shortly played it for singleplayer, but I lost it so I probably make a new ones in the future.
In game I highly prefer racing over wasting as I really like racing and I hate usually the ones who bang me into a wall or what ever, so I'm not good at wasting.

I read the rules very carefully and I hope that I don't break them as I really don't want to do it (I didn't come here to do that).

So I'd have a few questions if anyone is interested in answering them:
- How does the clan system work exactly? (since this is a NFMM feature, I really don't know what it is besides thinking logically)
- How do you guys "bounce" at track like a pinball? I've seen it in some of Ultimato's clan war videos and imo it takes away the racing feeling as you are basically only flying (but that's just me since I just saw it)
and
- Minimap? Another feature what I don't really see in NFMM, but some have it, is it made by someone here? (looks a damn cool feature)

- The clan system is pretty easy. If you want to play competitively, the best way to do it is to join a clan. Just contact one of the clan leaders of the clan you want to join (see the "clans" section) and they'll most probably test you out in a few online matches.
After you've joined, you basically wait around until a war is declared against another clan. I warn you, clan wars aren't that common nowadays since people tend to be inactive but they still happen nonetheless. There's also a "clan world war" feature built into NFMM, but it's imcomplete so people don't use it. They usually just war on their own accords.

- Bouncing is a technique used in racing along with aerial boosting. (I recommend seeing this topic). To aerial boost you hold up+down+space after a ramp to shoot/glide you forward. As for bouncing, it's similar and is used just as you are about to land to keep your momentum up.
Yea, it kinda takes away the "racing" feeling but hey, that's competitive NFMM for ya.

- I was fairly certain that the minimap was in NFMM by default, but nonetheless you could download an addons pack. They're made by users right here and they add really cool stuff to the game. I use DS-addons (found here) but there are others too, such as Phy Addons.

I don't remember exactly, but I'm glad that I didn't start to post my nonsense here at that time as I was only 11 years old. Well probably I left just because I couldn't understand anything, that was usually the case.
Anyways I uploaded my car to the game (private for now), but I can do my own car thread also then as this car wont be my last one for sure.

Hahaha, wise decision. I came here 7~ years ago when I was 11 and posted a good deal of nonsense. I'm just glad the warning bar wasn't invented then >=D
